I’d like to know your answers too, but here are mine.

DO YOU WANT KIDS?

No, not at least for the next decade. I love kids, and I’m usually the first one playing with them, but I want to put my time into other things — learning, building, travelling, and seeing what else I can achieve in life.

WHAT DOES A GOOD RELATIONSHIP LOOK LIKE TO YOU?

One where we add to each other’s lives more than we need each other. I want someone who makes my life even better because we enjoy doing things together, help each other out, and build things together.

WHAT KIND OF LIFE DO YOU WANT TO BUILD?

A life full of stories. Adventure, travel, learning, interesting people, different cultures, and exchanging ideas. I want to keep discovering and creating things rather than settling into the same routine for the next thirty years.

ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON OR A NIGHT PERSON?

Definitely a morning person. I usually go to bed after sunset and wake up before sunrise.

I have a bit of a routine — stretching, healthy cooking, fermented foods and drinks, exercise, projects, and all the normal things that keep life running.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN A RELATIONSHIP NOW?

Being single worked well for me for a long time. It gave me the freedom to move around, chase ideas, and build the life I wanted.

Now I’m more interested in finding someone I can actually build with. There are some things I’d love to do that are simply better with two people. I’d love to live closer to the land, grow things, build a place, maybe join a community or create one of our own. I just don’t really feel like taking on a whole farm by myself.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING TOWARDS IN LIFE?

I want to keep finding a balance between taking care of the practical side of life without becoming too attached to it.

I want enough financial freedom that I don’t have to worry about money all the time, but I don’t want making money to become the point of my life.

I want to keep my mind, body, and spirit moving in the same direction. For me, a lot of it comes down to being present and appreciating what is actually happening.

I don’t think happiness comes from everything going your way. I think happiness is learning to appreciate what is actually in front of you.

WHAT DO YOU VALUE MOST IN A PARTNER?

Good energy.

I’m attracted to someone positive, curious, affectionate, and easy to be around. Someone who has her own interests and her own space, but genuinely enjoys sharing life together.

I’m also really attracted to artistic women. I like the idea of us both having something creative going on.

WHAT DOES FREEDOM MEAN TO YOU?

Not caring too much about what other people think.

Being able to make your own decisions, change direction when you want, and build a life that actually makes sense to you rather than following the path everyone else expects.

WHAT ARE YOU NOT WILLING TO COMPROMISE ON?

Probably my diet.

I eat pretty clean — mostly whole, unprocessed food — and I like living somewhat according to nature’s rhythm.

HOW MUCH INDEPENDENCE DO YOU WANT IN A RELATIONSHIP?

I think it’s healthy for both people to have their own space.

That could mean parts of the day, parts of the year, or simply having things that belong to each of us. We could live together all year, or spend parts of the year doing our own thing. I don’t have one fixed idea of what a relationship has to look like.

I just think it’s important that you keep being yourself, and I keep being myself.

WHAT’S SOMETHING YOU NEED TO DO TO KEEP YOURSELF SANE?

For me, it’s walking.

Even after a long day of work, sometimes I just need to put the phone down and walk. No music, no reception, no distractions. Just get outside and clear my head.

WHAT SCARES YOU ABOUT A RELATIONSHIP?

I think the challenge is finding someone you can really share your life and your space with while still listening to yourself.
